the founder:
Xia Gordon is a designer and illustrator working across editorial, animation, branding, and publishing. Over the past seven years, she's created work for The New York Times, The New Yorker, Apple, Netflix, Nike, Meta, and others — and collaborated with studios like BUCK and Hornet on character design, visual development, and concept work.
Now, as a studio, she extends that same care to a wider range of clients and scales — partnering with agencies, brands, and startups alongside her editorial work. A trusted network of collaborators joins when a project needs it, keeping every team lean and every deliverable considered.
Her debut picture book, We Shine! is out from henry holt in 2027.
